'Intimacy'.
Painting that I did in my church, so fun to paint live during worship!
This painting speaks about how important our time with God is. The first
thing the enemy tries to take from us, is our time with God, our
intimacy with Him. To seek Him first should be our priority and we
should not let it be stolen from us. Distractions and business can
quickly come in between our time and god.
The painting also
speaks about being childlike; To be quick to trust, to have an healthy
amount of curiosity and to receive life as an adventure. To have an
eager and teachable spirit, desiring to learn new things, to always
wanting to be close to your parent because you know and trust that
you'll be safe and provided for by their side. These are the childlike
things I think we could embrace more often as adults.
"Better is one day in your courts than a thousand
elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than
dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
Psalms 84:10-11 NIV
"For
you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. Teach me your
way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided
heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with
all my heart; I will glorify your name forever."
Psalms 86:10-12 NIV
